Obituary Condolences

82, of Irwin, peacefully fell asleep in the Lord at her home Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Born February 17, 1929 in Youngstown, OH. Daughter of the late Stephen and Maria Kulynych Solomon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, John, Michael and Charles Solomon. Helen was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, McKeesport. She joined in many activities in both Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church of Youngstown, OH and St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in McKeesport as well as the League of Ukrainian Catholics. Helen worked at Republic Steel of Youngstown, OH from 1947 to 1963 and then following her marriage became a full time homemaker. Beloved wife of 48 years to Merle Morozowich; loving mother of Father Mark Morozowich of The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. and Donald K. (Rose Marie) Morozowich of Irwin; grandmother of Nicholas, Natasia and Maria Morozowich; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends received 2-4 p.m. Sat. and 4-8 p.m. Sun. at the J.F. OTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 504 Oak St., Irwin, where the Parastas Service will be held Sun. at 7 p.m. Requiem Divine Liturgy held 11 a.m. Mon. at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, McKeesport. Interment to follow in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, N. Versailles. Memorial donations for the Seminary Fund will be sent to the Eparchy of St. Josaphat.
