Obituary Condolences

Age 47, on Saturday, March 7, 2009, of Charlotte, NC, formerly of W. Homestead, PA. He was the son of the late James and Rosella Armstrong. He is survived by his sweet seven year old daughter, Jensen, and former wife, Alicia. Beloved brother of Karen (Daniel) Capp; loving cousin of Linda (John) Walters; also survived by a nephew and many other cousins. Jim was a graduate of Kiski School in Saltsburg, and Indiana University of PA. Upon graduation in 1986, he moved to Washington, D.C. and spent several years with the FBI. In 1995, he joined the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Dept. Jim was a published author and an avid reader. His career was spent in Criminology and he was considered an expert in the area of gang violence. Friends and family welcome for visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 at the R.V.
