KARCHER JEAN ALICE (HEINLEIN)
87, of Haysville, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012 surrounded by family. She was born on August 11, 1925 to the late George and Esther Heinlein. For 60 years, she was the devoted wife of the late Bernard "Bernie" Karcher. She was also preceded in death by her brother, George Heinlein, and sisters, Martha "Sis" Kowalewski, Betty Heinlein, Helen Macon and Esther Moehring. She was a wonderful mother to Ronald (Mary) Karcher, of Haysville, Pennsylvania. She will always be remembered by her grandchildren, Marna (Steven) Blackmer, of Edgeworth, Pennsylvania, and Monica (Larry) Londy, of Goodyear, Arizona. She will be missed by her six adoring great-grandchildren, Michael, Morgan and Madison Londy and Nathan, Lauren and Kaitlyn Blackmer. She was the beloved sister of Elsie Mallah. A private service was held for family on Thursday, December 13, 2012. She was laid to rest at Sewickley Cemetery. Jean Alice Karcher was an exceptional woman and we are all better for having known her.
