To Nancy and all the Family:

I was so sorry to learn of John's death. He will certainly live on forever in his family and in his art. I treasure the one painting that was given to my family--with Nancy as the model. You are all in my prayer.

Please accept my deepest sympathy to your whole family. I'm sure John will live forever in all your hearts. I'll never forget the warm welcome given to Marcia when she "worked in exchange for riding".She rode more than she worked, and became a better person

after spending time with the Bakers.

To the Baker Family....I was checking the Post-Gazette's on-line web site to check "the news from home" when I read of John Baker's death. Though I only met him a couple of brief times throughout Catherine's various campaigns, I was always impressed with his artistic talents. Each year, I looked forward to receiving Catherine's holiday card because it would invariably have a cover with art done by John. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Susan and your lovely family,

It saddened us to hear of your father's passing. We knew him well from our childhood parish of St. Columbkille Church in Imperial. Your father's love for life radiated in his art and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. May God bless you and your family, and may you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Nancy and family,

Growing up with your family was a memory I will always treasure. My childhood was greatly influenced by Johnny and the Imperial farm. My deepest sympathy is sent to all of you from Mike Baker and all of our family.
