Age 70, of Avalon, on Friday, July 23, 2010. Joseph Bednar, Jr.; father of Matthew J. Bednar (Stephanie) and Melissa E. Bednar; brother of Lawrence Bednar; grandfather of Laurel Bednar; also survived by dear companion, Barbara Schlessman. Joe was the owner of Cuts N Curls Beauty Salon in Avalon. Friends received Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at McDONALD-LINN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 529 California Ave. Avalon where services will be held Monday at 11 AM. Family suggest memorial contributions to Spencer and Friend Animal Rescue, 515 California Ave. Avalon, PA 15202.
