Peacefully on Sunday, February 10, 2013, from complications due to pneumonia. He would have turned 97 the following Monday. A native of Wlodzimierz, Poland, Mr. Sudol was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Polish infantry during the Blitzkrieg of 1939. He served as a P.O.W. in Germany until the end of the war and emigrated to the United States in 1950.
