She was real dame; a force of nature.

Judy and I were friends in Junior High and High School. I remember her, her sister and parents fondly. Found this obituary b/c I had hoped to see her at an upcoming HS reunion in Scarsdale, NY. She was energetic, interesting and warm always and, obviously, throughout her life. Aileen Kates Hart

Judy and I took a wonderful cruise in Alaska in August 2009. This photo of the two of us was taken by a fellow traveller, Australian John Annat. I am so grateful we got to take that cruise.

I first met Judy when I was about 12 and she was an Associate at Polettir Freidin. We kept in touch on and off for about 20 years. She was the first adult who treated me as an equal and as a friend. I had lost touch with her over the last 20 years or so, and I am truly sad about that. I wish we had stayed close.

I did not know Judy after our high school years, and in truth I was not a close friend. However, she was one whom we all admired for her intelligence, her ambition, her drive and her decisiveness. I can readily see that in those years following high school, she made a difference on this Earth, and I believe that is what it's all about.

I remember Judy fondly, from celebrating Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve together with the Williamson's. I marvelled at her willpower in her 5-year fight. I am deeply saddened by her passing.
