KAREN L.
65, of Senecaville and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA (Franklin Park). Died suddenly on July 11, 2013. The daughter of the late Robert and Kate Austin; survived by her husband John; her three children, John A. (Adriana), Jenn, and Aaron (Juliana); a brother Michael; and two sisters Terry and Suzanne. Karen retired from Verizon and moved to Senecaville with her husband. She enjoyed cross-stitch, gardening, canning, and working with the ladies at St. Michael's Byzantine Church Ladies Guild, as well as traveling with her children and husband. She will be deeply missed. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at BLACK-EPPERSON FUNERAL HOME, Byesville, with a Parastas service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Funeral liturgy will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Pleasant City. Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery, Pleasant City. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Karen's name to the St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church Ladies Guild, 408 Walnut Street, Pleasant City, OH 43772.
