To Kay's family,
My deepest sympathy is extended as I write this note on the sixth anniv-ersary of my mother's funeral.
While a pleasure to work with Kay on many professional endeavors, of lasting memory will be the fun we had traveling together. Some of our more memorable adventures were on a trip to Hawaii. With Dottie Koteski as chauffeur, we laughed and learned as we explored the island: observing the fish auction in the wee hours of the morning; transversing fruit and nut farms by tram; taking a guided tour of the burgeoning Farmers' Market; receiving a special tour of the richest hospital on the island; enjoying dim sum with several island residents; teaching an IRS agent how to best order drinks; seeking out the finest dining spots as always; and so very much more.
Kay had a good life, and will surely be missed.

To Kay's family - Please accept my sympathy on your loss. I knew Kay from the very beginning of my career in Aging Services. She always seemed "ageless" - full of energy and an inspiration to those of us who worked with her. There was no one like her!

To Oliverio and Bishirjian Family - I worked with Kay during a "wonderful" run at ACAA when we had the chance to launch the older adult program "Fitness Matters". She was a terrific mentor, friend and inspiration . She truly stood for - doing it right in your life and in your work.....thank GOD - we had the chance to embrace. Love, Lorie Scrabis

To the Oliverio and Bishirjian Families: Please accept our condolences on your loss. I knew Kay for the several years I served on the Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging and as a co-worker and neighbor in the Blackridge Garden Club. She was always hard-working, clear-thinking and innovative in her approach to projects. Her sparkling white hair attracted people to her right away and her bright smile held us warmly in her good comopany. We will miss her.

To Kay's Family: Please accept my sincere sympathy. I knew Kay for many years when we were members of the Pennsylvania Dietetic Association. We spent many evenings together at State and National Conventions and attended many PADA meetings together. Her smile was infectious and I always admired her beautiful hair. She gave a great deal to her profession. She was a great lady.

Chuckie and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family for your lost. When Kay joined the AAA staff I had the pleasure of working with her first with Citiparks and then CCAC. She had a positive impact on so many people. I was fortunate to have been one of those individuals.

To the Bishrjian and Oliverio families, I knew Kay through my long friendship with Grace. They were two extraordinary women and I was blessed to know both of them. They are missed by many. Mary Henninger Butanowicz

Dear Family
I offer my deepest sympathies. Kay was among my inner circle of friends and someone I never neglected to see whenever I visited my native Allegheny County. She forever wore a smile and I have many pictures of her wearing that smile in the memorial journeys, visits and fun loving times together, particularly the extended trips which Kay, Inez Speranza and I enjoyed in connection with the ADA/FNCE annual meeting. More recently our friendship of 30 plus years was through regular phone visits where we relived some of these, laughed and supported one another. Along with you, her loving family as well as her many nearby and distance friends and colleagues, I will miss her dearly.

To the Bishirjian and Oliverio families, please accept my deepest and heartfelt sympathy on the passing of an incredibly gracious and generous woman. Many years ago, Kay opened her heart and her home to me when I lived in Pittsburgh. I will always be grateful for the love and warmth she extended to me.

To Kay's family - Please know how much Kay will be missed. We met when I was the dietitian for the AAA in Philadelphia. She was not only a colleague, but became a mentor and friend to me as well. I will miss her sense of humor, no-nonsense manner and her dedication to the people she served so tirelessly over the years. It was a priviledge to know her. Please accept my hearfelt condolences for your loss.
