BRANNON LAURA ELLEN MITCHELL
87, lifelong resident of Sewickley, PA, died on April 14, 2012. Wife of former Sewickley Police Chief Walter J. Brannon; mother of Charlotte Ann Davis (Bill) Gill of Ocla, FL, Barbara Lee (widow of Norman) Dye of Aliquippa, PA, Jacqueline Ransome of Las Vegas, NV, Danise (Chauncey) Clinton of Pgh., PA, and Walter Jacob (Jeanne Michaud) Brannon of Georgetown, MA; also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her two sisters, Ida Mae Harrison and Birdie Mitchell Huddleson; and her granddaughter, Darlene Collier. Friends will be received in THE RICHARD D. COLE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 328 Beaver Street, Sewickley, PA 15143, on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Mathew AME Church, Thorn and Walnut Streets, Sewickley, PA 15143. The family asks that contributions be made to Laura's church at the above address.
