Peacefully surrounded by her family on July 2, 2012. Originally from East Liberty, daughter of the late Michael T. and Philomena Crisella Isber. Beloved wife of the late Thomas S. Begandy; devoted mother of Thomas Begandy (Nora), Cheryl Begandy Cherubino (the late Michael) and Stephanie Richards (Scott); loving grandmother of Sarah Rodowicz (Rich), Thomas J. Lucy loved her family above all else and devoted her life to taking care of them. She lived her Catholic Faith. She was proud of her dual Italian-Middle Eastern ethnicity, thoroughly enjoying the foods and traditions of both, and of course her many cousins and relatives on both sides. Lucy loved to travel, visiting Rome, Florence, Quebec, Montreal, Toronto, California, New York, Philadelphia, as well as annual summer visits to Rehoboth Beach. She enjoyed dining out and was an expert on the local restaurant scene. She will be missed by all who knew her. There will be no visitation. Funeral Saturday, July 7, Mass of Christian Burial, in St. Raphael Church, 1118 Chislett St. at 10 a.m. Interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements by JOHN A. FREYVOGEL SONS, INC.
