1943 - 2013 | Obituary Condolences
Age 69, of Adams Township, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township. Born December 12, 1943 in Donegal, Ireland, he was the son of the late Neil and Sally O'Donnell. Mac owned and operated ASHBY Manufacturing in Cranberry Township for over 37 years. He was a member of Saints John and Paul Parish in Sewickley. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his three loving children, Tim (Lynn) O'Donnell of Evans City, Sally (Kurt) Martin of Butler, and Kevin (Farrah) O'Donnell of Freedom; his five siblings, Charles O'Donnell of Australia, Sue Fagan, Bridget Walters, Mamie Massarella, and Sadie Summerton all of England; his five adored grandchildren, Matthew, Shannon, Taylor, Mason, and Meredith; and numerous extended relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Mac was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 31 years, Patricia Ann (Woodard) O'Donnell, who passed away on October 10, 2001. The O'Donnell family will welcome friends on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 130 Wisconsin Avenue, Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Saints John and Paul Parish, 2586 Wexford Bayne Road, Sewickley, with Fr. Joseph R. McCaffrey, celebrant. (Friends please meet at Church). He will be laid to rest at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery in Gibsonia.
