WERTZ MARY JANE "JANIE"

Age 76 of Wexford, died peacefully in her sleep on December 2, 2018 at home. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Mary (West) Feidak of Pitcarin.  "Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy." John 16:22. A loving mother and grandmother, Janie delighted in spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She loved to have fun with them, making them smile and laugh.  "If you're happy, I'm happy." she would often tell them.  She also enjoyed country music, dancing, the Pittsburgh Steelers and her dogs, Angel, Taz and Tyler  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald "Les" Wertz; son, William "Bill" McElfresh; and siblings, Robert Feidak, Esther DeCenzo, Barbara McCreary, Judy Shea, Norma Jean McClowry, Donna Hixson and Betty Hoy.  Janie is survived by her son, Michael McElfresh (Kim) of Latrobe; and daughter, Michelle McElfresh of Wexford; she is also survived by grandchildren, Michael McElfresh (Shelley), Nicole Raspotnik (Don) and David McElfresh; and great-grandchildren, Olivia McElfresh, Ryan Raspotnik, and Abby Raspotnik. "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." John 14:1-4 Friends and family received Wednesday 1-8 p.m., at the GEORGE A. THOMA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 10418 Perry Hwy. Wexford.  Funeral services Thursday at 11 a.m., in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park Chapel.
