1922 - 2018 Obituary Condolences

Age 95, of Bridgeville Care and Rehabilitation Center and formerly of Cheswick, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Born on October 2, 1922 in Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Turk; wife of the late George W. Machak; beloved mother of Richard Machak (Ginger Tipping Machak) of Bethel Park and Joel M. Machak of Annapolis, MD; cherished grandmother of Jeannette (Eric) Lasher of Plum, Kristina (Brian) Krajci of Bethel Park, Caitlyn and Nikita Machak both of New York; loving great-grandmother of Cameron and Ella Krajci; sister of the late Charles Loveisky, John Turk, Frances Taylor Sacher, Robert Turk, Joseph Turk, and Michael Turk; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary was employed at the former Murphy's Mart, Harmarville and retired from Westinghouse EMD, now Curtis Wright. She enjoyed cooking, polka dancing and music, and was a proud Slovenian. Mary always enjoyed the October Fest at Seven Springs. Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont. Funeral Service Saturday, July 14, 2018, 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. David Wilson officiating. Interment will be private in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Twp. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to The Anglican Parish of Christ our Redeemer (Building Fund), 120 East College St., Canonsburg, PA 15317.
