My condolences to his family and friends
Last spring, I sat in on a class with Mike as he was working on his master's. I still have the handout he gave for his class presentation. We ended up doing a lot of group work together.
I remember him as an all around good guy. He will surely be missed by many.

God looked around His garden,
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
Our hearts and prayers go out to your family. Michael will be missed.
