Accidentally on Saturday, January 14, 2012, Michael, age 61, of Baden, formerly of Lawrenceville. Loving husband of Sandra Renee Laughlin; father of Bernadette Dwyer, Michelle Sorensen, Matthew and Lea Laughlin; stepfather of Jeanetta Guffey; also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; son of Dolores and the late William J. Laughlin; brother of Billy (the late Angela) Laughlin, Christine (Tom) Jablonski, Tony (Lorraine) Laughlin, Donna (Michael) Armenti, David (Judith Ann) Laughlin, Dolores "Lovey" (Tom) Pirano, Carmine (Patricia) Laughlin; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Michael was a proud retiree of the US Army after 20 years of service and is currently employed with OSHA; also he was a friend of Bill W. for over 16 years. Friends received at the JOHN F. MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, INC., Butler at 52nd St., Lawrenceville. Mass of Christian Burial, St. Matthew Parish, in St. Kieran Church, Wednesday 11 a.m. Visitation Tuesday 12-8 p.m.

I look at the picture I have uof us everyday, I can't express enough, how much I miss you. It wasn't fair. I love you and when thing's are at there hardest which they have been with family is the time I need you so much. I would of done thing's differently if i would of known. I take so many thing's you have taught me and instill it with my children. I love and miss you and I know you look down on a daily basis, you keep me strong!

You made me so proud you served your country for 20yrs and the rest of your life you devoted yourself to taking care of the people that needed you in there lives. made me so proud as a mother words can only say i only ask god why?why you? I can't begin to tell u how much I miss u and our family will never be the same without you. There will always be the empty feeling knowing you are not with us physically but I will always feel your presence because it meant so much to be with family to you as it does us. I will never forget the day we shared just the two of us on that bench outside your work just chatting away about everything and you calling me that night to say what a great time we had it meant so much to me and it was such a beautiful day out as well. I will carry that day with me always. You will forever be in our hearts and always will be missed until we all meet again. I think this is the hardest thing to write as your sister. Yes we were the oldest you as my oldest brother and me being the oldest girl we both had our ways but we always had each others heart. We both felt we were in charge but really u were the one that was. I am so lost without u for advice and being able to talk to when I needed advice or just to talk and know it was always between us. I remember sitting with u out on the benches of your work and having such a beautiful day talking about everything in general from children to our Mom and u calling me and telling me how wonderful it was to get together that day. It will stay in my heart and all the memories we have shared througout our lifetime. I will always miss u but I know u r in a better place meeting up with all your Army friends u lost and our Dad say hello to him for us. Mike served his country twice. The first time his duty was to fight for his country, the second time, he fought to save lives. I assure you there are workers walking around alive and well today who wouldn't be if not for Mike. I was proud to work with Mike for many years and to call him a friend. He helped many people, at work and in his personal life. It is ironic that someone who worked so hard to prevent accidents would ultimately be claimed by one. He was taken much too young, but his life was full and he left nothing on the table. Godspeed to our brother.
