Age 66, wife of Anthony Gentile, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. The relatives and friends of Anthony and Rebecca Gentile are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 5 St. Teresa Drive, Charleston. The Rite of Committal will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery on James Island. The family will receive friends between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Friday at the JAMES A. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Doris Ballentine Chopski. An active member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Rebecca was faithful to the Perpetual Adoration Society, for which she sat every Monday when she was able. In addition to her husband, Rebecca is survived by Tracey Pendleton, Toni-Lynn Gentile and husband, Jesus; her sister, Rita Jubeck; niece, Jenaya Jubeck; two beautiful grandchildren, Tyler Pendleton and Jessann Gentile.
