ROSALIND G.
Rosalind died March 13, 2013, after a brief illness while traveling with her husband of 50 years, Michael, to the West Coast. Rosalind was born in Rochester, NY in 1939, daughter of Annette (Levy) and Alfred Gans. She attended the University of Michigan, where she met and married Michael Natelson. They moved to Pittsburgh forty-eight years ago, and raised their sons, John and Douglas. John and his wife Michelle live in McKeesport; Douglas and his wife, Kristen, and their sons, Alexander and Joshua, live in Houston. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Rose Rubin. Rosalind received a Master's degree in English from Michigan and a certification in special education from Duquesne University. She taught English in Michigan, and volunteered for many years with the St. Peters Child Development Centers and the Pleasant Hills Library. She loved to read, and had wide interests in travel, music, and theater, and was a devoted grandmother. Arrangements were private. Donations can be made in her name to charities and organizations of the contributor's choice.
