Age 94, of Monroeville, died on Thursday, March 8, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Dave and Ester Gerson; wife of the late Abraham Plotkin; and is survived by her son, Lee Plotkin. Rose will be missed by loving family and friends. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to: National Council of Jewish Women, 1620 Murray Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217 (www.NCJWPGH.org) . Arrangements entrusted to the GENE H. My deepest sympathies for the family of Rose Plotkin. I will always remember Rosie as wonderful friend who made everyone laugh with her stories. I will treasure her friendship and the time I was able to spend with her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time.
