ROY THOMAS CLARK

CLARK ROY THOMAS, ESQ.
Of Upper St. Clair, on Friday, December 2, 2011. He was born July 12, 1917 in Pittsburgh and graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School, class of 1935. He continued his education at Oberlin College in Ohio and received his law degree from Harvard Law School in 1941. He then served in the United States Navy as a pilot and flight instructor until his discharge in 1947. He was in the general practice of law for 60 years until his retirement in 2007. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Peggy; son Thomas P. (Cindy) Clark of Mahtomedi, MN; two daughters, Carolyn (Harry) Mohrmann of Little Rock, AR and Anne (Mark) Kuchta of Pittsburgh; grandchildren Emily (Brandon) Burbach of Minneapolis, MN and Amy (Peter) Gallick of North Hudson, WI; four great-grandchildren, Rachel, Abigail, Sarah and Rebekah Burbach; he is also survived by brothers-in-law, Leland A. Hale of Houston, TX and Charles W. Starbuck of Rapid City, SD; and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Clark of Romeoville, IL. He was predeceased by his twin sister, Margaret Hale and younger brother, Roy A. Clark Jr. and parents Roy A. and Nellie Clark. A Memorial Service will be held at Friendship Village on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life Space Community, c/o: Friendship Village 1290 Boyce Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15241.
