Age 66, of Penn Hills, unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Beloved wife of 44 years to Richard George; loving mother of Becky (Ted) Millspaugh, Jeff (Kim) George, Brian George, Bob (Sabrina) George, Mike (Suzie) George and Dan (Jennifer) George; grandmother of Alicia, T.J., Raini, Gwen, Abby, Bethany, Joscelyn, Jacob, Nathan and Sarah; sister of Lea (Bill) Marcheck and the late Earl and Jim Jackson; sister-in-law of Claudia and Dorothy Jackson; also survived by nieces and nephews. Ruth was an RN and in her retirement, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Friends received, Thursday, 7-9 p.m. and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES, LTD./ROTH CHAPEL, 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road), Penn Hills. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, 10:00 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church. Interment in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
