CAMPBELL TROY JOSEPH "CLARK" "EVIL KNIEVEL" "THE LEGEND"

Age 56, of Stephens City, VA passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at Reston Hospital. Troy was born in 1961 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of Ed Campbell, Jr. and the late Carol Ann Campbell. He was Vice President of Horizon Contracting which he loved, and cherished his employees, or as he referred to them as his "guys", along with working associates and the friendship he had with all of them. Troy enjoyed hunting, fishing, surf fishing, and raised quail and chickens. He was a man of nature who loved the outdoors as much as he loved life itself. His greatest passion in life was his family and his dogs. To Troy nothing could be any better than spending time with family. He married Patricia George on February 27, 1988 in Middleburg, VA. Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Teresa Marie Campbell; and a son, Tony Campbell, both of Stephens City, VA; stepsons, Joseph and Michael Hargis; grandson, Landon Campbell; sisters, Tonya Ann Campbell of Winchester, VA and Tara Ann Wilson of Stephens City, VA; brother, Todd Edward Campbell of Winchester, VA; and many loving nieces, nephews, and forever friends. A gathering of family and friends will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 18th, at OMPS FUNERAL HOME, Amherst Chapel with a celebration of life service at 12 p.m. A reception will follow the service to continue celebrating Troy's life at Omps Reception Center, Amherst Chapel.
