Obituary Condolences

Of West Mifflin, formerly of Homestead, Veronica went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 29, 2012. She was a resident of Locus Grove Assisted Living in West Mifflin. Beloved wife of the late Mike "Mitch" Blazevich; mother of Milan (Sharon), Karen (Thomas) Estep, Allen (Janice), Brian (Rosemarie), Diane (Edward) Piskor and the late Susan (spouse, John survives) Krajzel. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew (Tammi), Meredith, MacKenzie (Dave), Jennifer, Timothy (Erica), Bethany (Josh), Nathan, Logan, Allana, Christie, Alexandra, Edward, Jr., Robert (Natalie), Justine and Brianna; her great-grandchildren, Justin, Chelsea, Ryan, Aidan, Livia, Riley, and the upcoming Camden; and also her great-great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Connor. Veronica was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Susan Hanus and her brothers, George, Bernard, Daniel and Francis Hanus. Friends and family will be received at SAVOLSKIS - WASIK - GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Sunday from 2-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be Monday, 10 a.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Homestead. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. She was a stay at home mom who enjoyed bowling, cards, traveling and playing bingo. The family suggests memorial donations in Veronica's name to Cedars Hospice, 4363 Northern Pike, Monroeville, PA 15146.
