BRAHAM W. WALTER, JR.
Age 81, of Fox Chapel, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Ann (Haines) Braham; loving father of Robert B. Braham, Nancy Braham Buchanan, Susan Wright Braham and William Walter Braham, III; cherished grandfather of Matthew, Lily, Hugh, Julia, Caroline, Ellie and Katie; brother of Isabel Braham Pedersen and James W. Braham. Walter was a retired partner with the law firm of Kirkpatrick, Lockhart, Johnson and Hutchinson. He was a past chairman of the board at St. Margaret Hospital. Friends received Thursday, 5-8 p.m. at the WEDDELL- AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave., Aspinwall. A Memorial Service will be held Friday 11 a.m. at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church 384 Fox Chapel Rd. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church, Pittsburgh PA 15238 or to Les Cheneaux Community Foundation, P.O. Box 249, Cedarville, MI 49719.

My deepest sympathy to the Braham family. "Uncle Walter" was quite the character during all of those Princeton reunions. He ate my parents out of house and home when they were first married and on a budget. He remained a close friend to our father, Maurice Cohill, for much of their lives. The mold was broken when Walter was born, and now we can be comforted that he is at peace.

Walter was such a wonderful man..warmer then most. I met him in 1987 when this law firm gave me a job before I had to report for active duty overseas. I met Walter the first day...my first day was the firm's, "Walter's," annual golf outing at Fox Chapel. He could not have made me feel more welcome or more apart of the firm who took me on...
