Born April 1, 1944, passed Nov. 17, 2012, due to complications from Diabetes. Wayne grew up singing in church with his family. He began to perform under the name Bobby Wayne with the Vanguards and the Marcels and did a record for Atlantic Records in the early 70s. Wayne traveled, performed, and recorded throughout his life. The last 10 years he produced 3 records for a label out of McKeesport. His final CD produced by Buddy Hall at Beacon Hill Recording for Reconciled Records, titled "One Hell of a Ride" and his final McKeesport release received consecutive 3 1/2 star reviews from the renowned publication "Down Beat". Wayne was known worldwide and was featured in Europe's oldest Blues Festival (Blues to Bop) in Lugano, Switzerland in August 2011. Brother of Gerald and uncle of Joshua.
