Dear Hubsch Family, I am a 7th grader. I am in Fletchers grade and i knew Jake back in Elementary School. I loved him! He was so funny. i called him my little buddy. It hurt me bad to hear about this loss because on the last day of 5th grade for me, on the bus he told me to have fun in Middle School and that he would be up there with me when i was in 8th and he was in 6th.. It hurt me bad because it didnt happen. i miss him so much, and i give all my condolences to your family. You guys are very strong. Thank you, for having your son change my life. I hope you all get better. Thanks, Alexia Bajsec. Also, im planning a dance for him, if its alright with you. if you need to contact me, my number is 740 792 3532 and my email is [email protected]. Thanks, hope i hear from you soon.

Don and Erica,

You have a beautiful family and God has used your children to shape all of us at St. Stephen’s, particularly during our Sat@6 services. Fletcher asked questions worthy of a seminarian. Aesha lifts us all with her relentless smile and unselfish energy. Jake was the quiet one, an engaging actor who flourished when given a costume and a role in our storytelling. He preferred the helmet and the sword. He soldiered well, and his enthusiasm for those opportunities helped change the way we connected kids to the Bible. His presence continues to resonate.
Thanks for sharing him with us.

Don and family,

I have no words to express my deep, deep sorrow for your tragic loss. Even if I could say something, nothing could be good enough. As a parent, I can only try to comprehend the collapse of your world because losing a child, by any means, is incomprehensible. It causes too much pain to even imagine it.

All I can offer is my heart, to be a friend should you want to talk, or just be there, silent, to support you. I have prayed for God to guide you as only he knows how. God Bless you and all who loved your beautiful son Jake.
