FREDERICK P.
Age 84, of Pittsburgh, on Monday, March 26, 2012. Born in Hamilton, Ontario. Fred was a son of the late Walter W. and Mary B. (Nash) Davidson; brother of James T. Davidson of Dormont, the late Ellen J. Davidson, Jane E. Clerk (James) of Calgary, AB, and Catherine A. Nickerson (Leslie) of Albany, NY; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Fred was a proud Korean War Army veteran and paratrooper, and for many years a cement mason. Fred was an accomplished trumpet player and chess player, was very quick witted, and liked to pose riddles. Friends will be welcomed at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, Monday morning from 9 until 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Bernard Church, Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. If desired, memorials may be made to SWVC Wellness Fund-Carnival, Southwestern Veterans Center, 7060 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, Penna. 15206.
