BRADLEY JEAN E.
88, died on November 29, 2011. Peacefully, Jean joined her late husband of 64 years, Robert J. Bradley. Jean was born on January 14, 1923 in Pittsburgh to Ralph and Helen Saupp Young. She grew up in Wilkinsburg and graduated from Wilkinsburg High School in 1941. She attended Muskingum College where she met the love of her life, Bob. They married on August 17, 1946, following Bob's discharge from active duty in the Marine Corps. Jean devoted her life to being a homemaker and to raising three daughters, Deborah, Deirdre and Diane. Jean and Bob enjoyed 14 wonderful years of retirement in Mount Dora, Florida where Jean made many new friends and served as a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Mount Dora. She enjoyed having her six grandchildren visit and entertained them with many trips to Disney World and swimming in the backyard pool. In 2001 Jean and Bob moved back to Pennsylvania to be near their family. She will be sorely missed. Jean is survived by her beloved daughters, Deborah Robinson and husband, Mark Miller, Deirdre Bies and husband, Randy and Diane Munoz and husband, Jaime; she is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Bradley Robinson, Brandon and Robert Bies, and Deana, Danielle and Daela Munoz; great-grandson, Samuel Bies; and brother-in-law Richard Bradley. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, April 20, 2012, 10 a.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont. Private Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
