Dear family of Father Ernie just getting out of the hospital it was not possible to make the trip to Pgh. Please know how much it hurt me to get the call about Fr Ernie. We always had a special feeling about our families and all the happy times we spent in High School. His first mass at St. James was so wonderful,we talked about it for years. I had really thought I would see Fr. at one of the class lunches. Our deepest sympathy to all I know Fr. is where he worked so hard for so many years, doing God's work. I will miss him every day.
