ALICE K. (COLLINS)
Age 86, of Baldwin Boro, formerly of Carrick, passed away at home with her loving daughter Susan (Dadig) Fix and her devoted dog Daisy Mae by her side, fighting bravely her fourth bout of cancer over the past 20 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Norman F. Dadig; and treasured daughter of Freda (Foell) and Fred Metting; and her only brother, the late Robert J. Collins. She is survived by her best friend since age 11, Mary Lou, wife of the late Charles Heisler, their children, Charles Jr. (Roberta), Michele (Robert) Planitzer, Lori (Louis) Ruzzi, Pam Yarborough, Christine (Paul) Brody and their children whom she considered her extended family of nieces and nephews. Alice also had many close friends whom she loved and cherished, especially June Husar, who was always there for her. Friends and relatives will be received at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, on Wed., January 2, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., where a Funeral Service will be held on Thurs., January 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
