WILLIAM OVERLY Obituary
84, of Somerset, formerly of Oakmont, passed on August 2, 2013 at Somerset Hospital. Born June 29, 1929 in Greensburg, he is the son of the late Elmer and Mary (Hayden) Overly. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Overly in 2012; son, William A. Overly; and sister, Mary Hoover. Mr. Overly is survived by his daughters, Linda Kellner and husband, Jeffrey of Slate Lick, and Betsy Rea and husband Roger of Oakmont; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Patricia Payne of Massachusetts. He was a graduate of Shadyside Academy and Yale University, and was the former owner of the Pittsburgh Envelope Company. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps in the Korean War. There will be no viewing or visitation, and a private Memorial Service at Mr. Overly's request. Arrangements by MILLER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, Somerset.
