DONALD ALAN "DON"
Age 59, of Shaler Twp., peacefully passed away on Monday, October 14, 2013, after a brief illness. Beloved husband for 23 years of Colleen Trew; cherished son of Evelyn (Mowry) and J. Donald Geyer; caring brother of Claudia (Nicholas) Hickly, Mary Jo (Ray Burdett) Geyer, Joseph F. (Kelly) Geyer, and the late Jeffrey B. (surviving Judith) Geyer; beloved son-in-law of Isabel Trew; loving brother-in-law of Kathleen Swazuk, Marleen Dean, Darlene Trew Crist (Steven DeToy), and Jeffrey (Joanne) Trew; favorite uncle of many nieces and nephews. Don was born on October 20, 1953, with an artistic talent, a wonderful sense of humor, and a zest for life. He graduated from Shaler High School and Lock Haven University. He was the proud owner and founder of Gekko's Graphics. Don's kindness, compassion, and loyalty made him many lifelong friends. We will miss him, his laughter, and his wonderful stories. Family and friends received on Friday 2-8 p.m. at KYPER FUNERAL HOME, 2702 Mt. Royal Blvd. at Mt. Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw.
