Age 88, of Monroeville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2013. Beloved husband for 61 years of Betsy Ann (Kerchner) Bahleda; loving father of Gregory (Jean) Bahleda, Lynn Bahleda, Bonnie (Robert) Ford, and Elaine Bahleda; brother of Genevieve (Mel) Hyatt; beloved grandfather of five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; special uncle to many nieces and nephews; also preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. Ed served in the Army during WWII and retired from MSA after 22 years of service. He was an avid bowler and a "Jack-of-all trades" who was always helping people. Friends will be received Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE / PLUM CHAPEL), corner of (445) Beatty Rd. and 48 North, Monroeville, (412-856-4747). Mass of Christian Burial at St. Colman Church, Monday 11:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
