BORES WILLIAM B. "SCUBBY"
83, of Finleyville, died Monday, November 4, 2013, in his home. He was born November 10, 1929 in Finleyville, a son of Joseph, Sr. and Tillie Yacunsky Bores. Mr. Bores was retired as an assistant manager at Cicci Dance Supply in Finleyville, and also had been employed as a driver for Matthews Bus Company in Eighty-Four. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post 613 and Loyal Order of Moose 172, both in Finleyville. Mr. Bores also had served as mayor of Finleyville Borough. Surviving are his wife, Betty J. Miller Bores; a son, William Bores of North Wales, PA; a daughter, Stacey Molenari and her husband, Jim, of Doylestown, PA; a brother, Donald Bores of Finleyville; a sister, Patricia Esworthy of Columbia, MD; two granddaughters, Macella and Lauren; and several nieces and nephews; deceased are two brothers, Joseph and Gerald Bores. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at KEGEL FUNERAL HOME, INC., Tim P. Kegel, Supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, where Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 8, 2013, with Reverend Robert J. Boyle, officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. Memorial contributions can be made to a .
