Of Boynton Beach, FL, age 60, passed away on January 14, 2014, in Florida. Born on December 24, 1953, in New Castle, PA. Beloved son of Helen M. Ciotto and the late Fred M. Ciotto. Joe was a graduate of New Castle High School in 1971. Following in his father's footsteps, he was employed for many years on the railroad in Pennsylvania, Alaska and Florida. Later, Joe had a successful career in sales and was the owner of "Here Comes The Sun," an exclusive sunglass store in Delray Beach. He was an avid golfer, and will be sorely missed by the host of friends that recount the many accomplishments of Joe in working with those who were recovering from addictions. Joe was a member of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Delray Beach where he devoted many hours at their Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel. Joe is survived by a daughter, Mary Rose Ciotto; and a granddaughter, Sydney of Columbus, OH. In addition to his mother, Helen of Mt. Lebanon, PA, Joe leaves behind three loving sisters to cherish his memories, Dr. Nancy Falvo (Frank), Rosemary Ahrens (John), and Donnalyn Sikora (Michael); four nieces, Danielle (Chris), Alisha (Matt), Gina, Alexandra; and two nephews, Ian Cole and Jon Anthony, all of Pittsburgh. Helping to care for Joe was his dearest friend, Ms. Bennett Higgins of Delray Beach, FL. Joe was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Rose Ciotto; maternal grandparents, Anthony and Rose Roscetti; two uncles, Fr. Francis Roscetti, O.F.M. Cap., Anthony Roscetti; and a nephew, Colin Sebastian McGrath. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at St. Bernard Church, Mt. Lebanon, PA at 11:30 a.m., with Fr. Pierre Sodini, S.T.L., presiding. A repast will follow the Mass. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the .
