Obituary Condolences

89, died on February 24, 2014, from natural causes. She was born to Attorney Stanley J. Brzeski and adored mother Emily C. Brzeski. She moved to Elmira, NY as the bride of the late Dr. Edwin P. Krzesinski where she lived for 60 years. She enjoyed the remainder of her life in Lakeland, FL with her companion, the late Mr. Wesley A. Pribla and summering in Zelienople, PA with her daughter. Emily was a faithful, devoted wife, a supporting, adoring mother, a beloved daughter, a dear sister, a loving aunt, a patient teacher, and caring friend. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Maribeth Krzesinski and husband, Dr. Gregory M. Semashko of Zelienople, PA; also by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Dolores Krzesinski; and 14 wonderful nieces and nephews. Emily was preceded in death by her idolized siblings, Mrs. Sylvia Chmiel, Mrs. Natalie Kozlowski, and Mr. Stanley Brzeski. Emily was raised and educated in Buffalo, NY. She attended SUNY at Buffalo where she earned both her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education. Further graduate studies included work at Elmira College and Cornell University. For many years Emily attended Elderhostel programs as part of her desire for life long learning. Emily LOVED to travel and traveled extensively world wide throughout her life. Her traveling companions included Edwin, Maribeth, and Gregory. In her later life she enjoyed attending plays on Broadway and cruising with the late Mr. John Lennon. For 25 years she taught in Elmira Heights, West Elmira, and Elmira touching the lives of hundreds of children. During her lifetime she was active and interested in many organizations and concerned with environmental issues. Mass of Christian Burial is planned for the future at St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Zelienople. Condolences may be sent to the family at:
