87, of Murrysville, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born August 2, 1926, in Campti, Louisiana. He was the son of the late LeRoy F. and Lucille Sauce Fears. In addition to his parents, Clois was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Pursley. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII and later in the United States Army as a Radio Engineer. Clois graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a Master's degree in electrical engineering. He began his career with Westinghouse, then switched to home building. He would spend the better part of 35 years as a self-employed contractor, building beautiful residential homes throughout the area. Clois was also member of the Homewood Hunting Ranch for many years, where he spent wonderful times with family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Anne H. Fears of Murrysville; a daughter, Jane (Craig) Viti of Fox Chapel; two sons, John (Jeanine) Fears of Philadelphia and W.P. Fears of Murrysville; three grandchildren, Jack, Liliya, and Cole; a niece, Gina Pursley; and a nephew, Steven Pursley. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville, on Friday, March 28, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
