Age 83, of O'Hara Twp., on Sunday, March 30, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Walter C. (Jim) Gloekler, Jr. and Edward Henning; beloved mother of John E. Henning (Maria), Nancy L. Weitz (Harold) and Mary A. Henning; stepmother of James W. Gloekler (Nanette), John S. Gloekler (Cinzia) and Catherine A. "Cate" Degraw (Jim); grandmother of Dana Colangeli, William, Carl, Alex, Courtney Henning, Tierney Weitz, Daniel, Kelley, Suzanne, Max, and Miles Gloekler and Kay, Ryan, James and John Degraw; also survived by many great- grandchildren; sister of the late Edward "Sonny" and Paul Vaughn. Betty Gloekler was a lifelong member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of the Pittsburgh Field Club. She was a passionate artist and loved to laugh, bake, play Bridge and tennis. Friends received at McCABE BROS., INC. FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut St., Shadyside, Tuesday 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Scholastica Church, Aspinwall, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
