Age 81, of Upper St. Clair, on Friday, April 11, 2014. Beloved husband for 46 years of Rosemary (Challands) Dingle; devoted father of Lisa Mary (Dr. Paul) Goren and Dr. Robert Dingle; brother of Dr. Peter (Madeline) Dingle of England; loving grandfather of Nurullah, Elsie and Indigo Goren; also survived by nieces, nephews and family in England. Brian was born in Gateshead-on-Tyne, England, the second son of Dr. Frederick Robert and Phyllis Dingle. He was educated at Cheltenham College, Manchester University and Royal College of Advanced Technology, Salford. He served in the Royal Air Force as a pilot officer for his national service. Brian began his career as an electrical engineer working for a variety of different steel and aluminum companies both in England and, from 1976, in America, and traveled the world on business for over 30 years. Brian was a charming English gentleman until the end, with a wealth of stories and wonderful sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and colleagues worldwide. Family Plans No Viewing. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Mount Lebanon, Wednesday morning at 10:30. Interment private. Memorials may be made St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1066 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228 or All Saints Episcopal Church, 850 Boyce Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
