Obituary Condolences

Age 86, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Mt. Washington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Beloved husband of Dee (Francis) Cafaro for 60 years; loving father of Debra (Terrance Livingston) Cafaro and Mary Jo (Patrick) McGuire; Jidu of Kevin and Katie Livingston and A.J. and Michael McGuire; brother of Rose Henderson, George Cafaro, Ann Lockhart, the late Mary Petraglia, Carmella Belsterling, Philomena Redding, Lucille Cafaro, Stella Perry, Elizabeth Till and Joann Jefferson. Frank was also a proud uncle to his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews. During Frank's childhood, he worked in his father's bar and restaurant. He graduated from St. Mary of the Mount High School and served in the U.S. Navy in Guam. Frank enjoyed his lengthy service in the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier. He used his strong faculty with numbers to become an expert in the coin business. In 1966, he began learning about rare coins. By 1970, Frank opened his own coin business, Liberty Coin Shop, in downtown Pittsburgh. He was an avid sports fan, especially rooting for the Pirates, Steelers and the Upper St. Clair Panthers. All who knew Frank will remember him as a loving and enthusiastic family man. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends and family are welcome at 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, 724-941-3211 on Saturday and Sunday 2-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday 10 a.m. in St. Bernard Parish.
