SILAS "CY" CLARK, Jr.
Age 53, of Verona, passed away peacefully, after a three-year battle with cancer, on June 5, 2014, surrounded by his family. Cy is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Joanne (Paukoucek); mother, Anna Marie; sisters, Evelyn Herrmann and Donna Spong; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Carol Sebastian; nephews and nieces, Fred (Amy), Ron, Dan (Betsy), Natalie and Victoria; and great- nieces and nephews, Julia, Jacob, Natalie and Liam. He was preceded in death by his father, Silas Clark, Sr.; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Dorothy Paukoucek; and brother-in-law, Fred Herrmann. He was a member of Riverside Community Church in Oakmont and a lifelong Penguins fan. At the Penguins games he was know as the "Hulk Hogan Guy" or "Malkamania" and loved to taunt opposing teams with his signs and custom jerseys. Cy was also active in many charities, including Toys 4 Tots, The , as well as many animal shelters, including the Animal Rescue League and Kiski Valley Cat and Kitten Rescue. Cy always put on a tough-guy image, but to those who knew him, he wore his heart on his sleeve. He was always willing to pitch in and help the underdog. During his battle with cancer, he never lost hope that he would be the exception to the rule. Rest in Peace Cy. May your spirit shine from the heavens. Friends and relatives will be received on Sunday, June 8, 2014, from 1 - 4 and 6 - 9 p.m. at the BURKET - TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont.
