Age 77, of Penn Hills, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. Devoted husband of Mary Ann Getty Sullivan; loving father of Deborah (Timo Limburg) Sullivan and Sean (Anna) Sullivan; dear and loving grandfather of Michael and David Schwartz, Patrick, Daniel, and Erin Sullivan; son of the late Patrick and Mary Sullivan; brother of Mary Agnes Smeltzer, Ellen "Sis" Henry and Robert (Maryanne) Sullivan. Preceded in death by his brothers, James, Patrick, John, Richard and Edward Sullivan; brother-in-law of Rose, Mary Lou, and Kathleen Sullivan; beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Friend of Bill W. for 38 years, Dan was an avid golfer, a former Postmaster of Turtle Creek Post Office and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Dan dedicated his life to helping others, practicing spiritual anonymity and making every effort not to get credit for his countless acts of loving kindness.
