On Saturday, June 14, 2014, age 93, of the Village of St. Barnabas, Gibsonia, formerly of Buffalo, NY. Beloved husband for 69 years of Patricia M. (Milholland) Schwindler; loving father of Frank J., William and the late Margaret Schwindler; brother-in-law of Anne and Tom Milholland; proud grandfather of Marie Schwindler, Sam Schwindler, William Moss, Jacob Moos, and the late Bradley Baker; also preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. Frank was a WWII Army Air Force Captain, where he served as a pilot, famously flying the Burma China Hump. He retired from the Air Force Reserves after many years of service with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Frank received his B.S. from Canisius College and went on to earn a Masters Degree in Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology. He worked for many years for Hooper Holmes, Inc. of New Jersey retiring as CEO. Friends welcomed Thurs. 6-8 p.m. at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 5864 Heckert Rd., Bakerstown. Funeral Mass in St. Richard Church Friday at 10 a.m., 3841 Dickey Rd., Gibsonia.
