RUSIN
ANNA M.
Age 83, of Beechview, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Frank L. Rusin, who died August 10, 2011; loving mother of Kathleen (Henry) Wojciechowski and Bernadette Rusin; step-grandmother of Barbara Graham and Edward Wojciechowski; step-great- grandmother of Elizabeth, Declan, Holly, and Kyle. Ann was born July 7, 1930. Daughter of the late Joseph and Petronella "Nellie" Kuzbel; stepdaughter of the late Theresa (Cintula) Kuzbel. Ann and Frank were married on November 19, 1955, in Johnstown, PA. They moved to Pittsburgh, where Ann and Frank raised their family. Ann was devoted to St. Catherine of Siena Church in Beechview for over 55 years. She was an active member of the choir, which she loved dearly. She was a current officer of Christian Mothers and a member of Ladies of Charity. She took great honor in being a Eucharistic Minister, delivering Holy Communion to those who were homebound. She also served on the Worship Committee. Twice a month you would find Ann cleaning the church, which she did for over 40 years, with many of her dear friends. Ann's special talent was making coffee for Bingo nights and other activities in McCann Hall. You would always find her working the kitchen for card parties, the church Lenten Fish Fry, Nationality Day, the Festival and Donut Sunday. She was preceded in death by brothers, John, Joseph, Bernard, and Edward; and stepsister, Elizabeth "Betty" Kessler. She is survived by brother, Leonard (Sandy) Kuzbel; and stepsister, Sr. Mary Matthew (Bridget); and many nieces and nephews. Ann will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends received Thursday and Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at BRUSCO - NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15216.
