1950 - 2014 | Obituary Condolences
Of Baldwin, passed away July 11, 2014, at his home. Ed was born on January 27, 1950, the first son of the late Ike and Helen Waldo. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Pat; his son, Brian (Lindsey), expecting his first grandchild in September; daughter, Christine; two sisters, Sandy Baker and Carol Adams; brother, Rich; sister-in-law, Carol Czeczely; brothers-in-law (who were like real brothers), Paul Peduzzi, the late James Peduzzi, and Ken Peduzzi; and many loving nieces and nephews. Ed met the love of his life, Patricia Peduzzi, in 1971 and the two married in 1973, when Ed was 22 and Patricia was 18 years old. They established a life in the Pittsburgh area and remained happily married for 41 years. Ed was a dedicated husband and a loving father. A talented craftsman, friends and family remember that if anything was broken, he would fix it with expert skill. He extended this generosity to everyone he knew, and when he promised to help with a project, he meant it. He gave his whole heart and ability to all who knew him. Ed's favorite place to go was the family cottage in Pymatuning, fishing, sitting around the campfire, and enjoying the outdoors, made him feel at home. A celebration of life service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15236, to be followed by a gathering of friends and family.
