1933 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
Died Friday, July 25, 2014, at his home in Murrysville, with his loving family at his side. He was born July 5, 1933, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Robert N. and Mary Ellen (Durkin) Cimino; and was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Cimino. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Dolores "Dee" Mangretta Cimino; children, Robert Cimino and his wife, Cheryl, Lynn Hallenberg and her husband, Mark, Scott Cimino and his wife, Sandy, and Cynthia vonAllmen and her husband, Kraig; and daughter-in-law, Sarah; grandchildren, Bobby, Jeffrey, Jason, Kristan, Jesse, Shanna, Shelby, Hillarie, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, twins, Dominic and Andrew, Arden, Jazi and EmmyLou; a sister, Norine "Bunnie" Fazi of Plum and her late husband, William C.; and also nieces and nephews. Bob was honorably discharged by the United States Navy after serving during the Korean War, and was a member of American Legion Post 945. The Cimino family would like to acknowledge and give their heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate care to Heartland Hospice and their team of caregivers, especially to Joey, Kathy, Chris, Shari, Chaplain Gary, Cheryl, Lindsey and Deacon Mike Kelly. Friends will be received Sunday 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. at BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381, where Services will be held Monday 11 a.m., with Pastor Jeffrey Bingman, presiding. Interment Services will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
