She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Carlisle where she sung in the choir and served as a deacon. After moving from Carlisle to Enola in 2002, she attended the Camp Hill United Methodist Church. As the wife of an Army Colonel, she traveled all over the world including Germany, Greece, France, Holland, Spain, Portugal, and England. She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Frank A. Smith of Harrisburg; daughter, Zella Smith Anderson and husband Joseph Anderson of Mechanicsburg; and many nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at the Camp Hill United Methodist Church, 417 S. 22nd Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
