THERESA (CARELLO)
Age 95, of Dormont, on Friday, August 8, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Kotewicz, Jr.; devoted mother of Raymond Weichel, the late William and Donald Weichel; mother-in-law of Betty and Sandy Weichel; loving grandmother of Kathy Weichel, Donald Weichel, Jr., Tim Weichel, Natalie Weichel, and Kimberly Blackham; great-grandmother of Robert A. Doyle, Jr., Zachary Eskridge, Benjamin Eskridge, Elizabeth Bartholomew; Donald Weichel III, Nicholas Weichel and Devon Weichel; sister of Angie Pattinato, the late Joseph Carello, Rose Schmitt, Betty Mignellia, and Al Carello; also survived by many nieces and nephews. During the war, Theresa produced rivets and was instrumental in fighting for fair wages comparable to men's. She was a nurse's aide for 15 years at Mercy Hospital. Theresa will long be remembered for her loving and caring nature, never turning away anyone. Friends will be welcomed at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon, Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Bernard Church, Monday morning at 10. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 301 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
