JACQUELYN B. "JACKIE"
On August 16, 2014, from Hampton Twp. Jackie, daughter of the late Jack and Elizabeth Carmichael, joined her parents in heaven. Survived by her loving son, Kenneth Brown; daughter-in-law, Jessie Brown; and her beautiful granddaughter, Chancey Alyson Brown. Jackie is also survived and loved by her sister, Kathryn J. (Carmichael) Melle; brother-in-law, Carl Melle; niece, Stacey Melle; nephew, Carl A. Melle, Jr. (Caroline Melle); and her great-niece, Carina E. Melle who she loved and always enjoyed her time with; also survived by her aunt, Mary Lou Barb and many cousins. Jackie will be missed deeply by the many lives she touched. Jackie was a giving, caring and loving woman. Jackie enjoyed her vacation travels to Hawaii, Caribbean, Disney and Las Vegas with her sister. Jackie loved to go to the Steelers, Pirates games and Kennywood Park. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem, and a Board Member of Adams County Red Cross. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and at Passavant Hospital. Jackie was a 1961 graduate of Shaler High School and will be missed by her lifelong friend, Betty Loncaric-Wiesman and all of her personal friends, including her special friend, William (Bill) Perry. Private viewing on Monday for immediate family and funeral to follow at NEELY'S FUNERAL HOME. There are two estranged adult children.
