Unexpectedly on Monday, August 8, 2016, Jerry J. Palmisano, age 55, of Franklin Park. Beloved husband of 30 years of Kathy Evans - Palmisano; son of Larry and Phyllis Palmisano, formerly of Chicago, IL; father of Bianca Alexis (Beth Kitchin) Palmisano and Dana Kathryn (Trinh Nguyen) Palmisano; brother of Larry R. (Antonia) Palmisano; son-in-law of Betty Evans; brother-in-law of Gail Evans-Potter and Kenneth Potter; uncle of Thomas and Alexandra Palmisano, Jared Evans, and Jordan Potter. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, notice of place and time later. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Animal Full Life Rescue, Inc., 906 Ramsey St., Pgh, PA 15221 or Animal Advocates, 35 Wabash St., Pgh, PA 15203. Jerry graduated from Holy Cross High School, Chicago, IL and the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy. For the past 30 yrs. he worked as a pharmacist and made it his life's work helping people. He was the MC and coordinator of the Ultimate Teen Challenge Arnold Sports Festival of Columbus, OH. Jerry was an adopted father to many and the classic Italian dad. He always made you feel welcomed and cared for. He was enjoyable to talk to and be around. We will miss him. He Loved you all very much and hopefully you can take some of Jerry's zest for living to help you get through this very difficult time.
